Northwoods Forest School is an Enrichment Program.  Our enrichment and homeschool support services run from September to May. Our summer program is offered in June and July only.
 

We support your education journey by offering thematic units highlighting art, science, language, humanities, and social opportunities. We help you craft your home school lesson plans, build curriculum, provide feedback and documentation, and help with routine/accountability.

We offer a weekly book club for tutoring vocabulary, reading comprehension, and spelling.

During our three-day week, your student will learn through Waldorf curricula; arts, handiwork, music, movement, and interest-led opportunities. This is offered in our hybrid atmosphere to incorporate the best of multiple educational methods. 

We highlight movement on Mondays, music on Tuesdays, and arts on Wednesdays. 

We give preference to families that opt for at least once-a-week attendance, with the highest priority to those seeking full program opportunities.

Being in MN we have the best natural environment to see a lot of diversity! Spending time outdoors each day on campus, your child will have the opportunity to connect to everything rural MN has to offer! Your child will also learn nature-based skills like inner strength, self-confidence, self-reliance, resilience, homesteading activities, survival activities, bushcraft skills, and so much more! 

 

​Our goal is to support our MN families, to offer a child-led enrichment program that is rich and full of opportunities for a well-rounded home education experience!
