Summer Programs 2023

We are offering full summer 3-week summer day camp programs.

June to August ; M-T 4-Day/full-time 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Registration Fee (secures your spot)$100, then one-time payment of $476 at beginning of the month.

This is a skill building day camp, with lunch included.

June 5-8, 12-15, 19-22

July 10-13, 17-20, 24-27

August 7-9, 13-16, 20-23

*Our Part-Time option is an 7 days per month option, selecting the dates at time of registration. Registration for part-time attendance is $120, with a monthly invoice of $250.

Registration for the program includes: NWFS Waterbottle & NWFS Tshirt, materials, and achievement awards.

Our 2023 Summer

JUNE

Dates: 5-8, 12-15, 19-22

In this month we will be developing CAMPING SKILLS. As the first session, we will get comfortable with our baseline skill levels and start with some basic identification and outdoor safety. We will learn about knots, backpack essentials, 1st aid, campsite set-up, fire-building and lots of crafts and games.

One overnight "tenting" on campus is offered, this is parent+student recommended.

JULY

Dates: 10-13, 17-20, 24-27

This month we will be developing our ADVENTURE SKILLS. We will be learning about fort building, constructing shade structures, water safety, trail blazing, and tree identity. There will be games and crafts every week that fit our theme!

One special opportunity that will be offered this month is swimming lessons. This is off campus and pick-up will be there on those days.

AUGUST

Dates: 7-10. 14-17, 21-24

This month is FOREST SKILLS! In the heat of the summer we will be exploring the shady forest on campus. We will take a closer look at the forest floor, forest animals, mushroom identification, canopy surveying, compass usage and much more!

A slackline course will be available for students to train on and once conquered they will receive a recognition reward!
