What is a Sit-Spot?

A sit-spot is a favorite place in nature that you visit regularly to cultivate awareness as you expand your senses and study patterns of local plants, birds, trees, animals, etc.

Students can find their own spot at our campus during this space of time and reflect on their day.

What Skills will my child learn at Sunsetters?

There are many outdoor skills we have in store for our long-day students! We will be keeping the time loose for student-led interests to develop but will offer an inspirational presentation of a skill every week. Some skills in the line up are: plant identification, animal tracking, plant processing, age-appropriate survival skills, fort building, forest crafting and more!
