All menu items are GF (gluten-free) and DF (dairy-free), organic if possible, and Nitrate-Free.
All items are made using whole ingredients, there is no processed protein product on our menu. Foodservice follows the food safety guidelines, and all food is made in a fully equipped and professionally designed kitchen off-site, then transported to the campus each morning.
Staples always available in the Northwoods Kitchen: Organic Bread, GF Bread, Almond Milk, Coconut Milk, Condiments (Himalayan salt, pepper, butter, dairy-free butter, nut butter, peanut butter, etc.) There will be vegetarian/vegan options daily via our “mini-salad bar.” If your student has food sensitivities or allergies, please consider packing lunches when the menu conflicts with their needs.
Seasonally we can use grills and a fire-pit for event cooking or special occasion lunches; families will be informed ahead of time so they can either opt out and send a packed lunch or participate in the lunch experience.
This menu is subject to change without notice due to food unavailability, seasonal opportunities, or shortages in the local area; we try to plan up to two months in advance, but we also want to have an opportunity to buy local and fresh! All families must select meals when the menu is released, this helps keep food waste to a minimum.
